FTP Server

FTP is short for File Transfer Protocol and stands for a standard network protocol used for the transfer of files. FTP servers are thus used for the exchange of data, for instance images, between individual computers.

FTP servers enable the up- and download of data and their management – either by the use of installed software on your computer or web applications. FTP works unaffectedly from operating systems and usually transfers all types and formats of files.
